Not to mention I had tools and jacks to do all of this. If a shop did all that, that's at least $1,000 in repair time easy. And based on initial inspection of the car seeing that the valve cover gasket looked freshly replaced, coils were aftermarket, and radiator and cooling components looked new, the car had been taken decent care of. I had left over parts and also replaced passenger inside door handle and power steering reservoir hose line. So far I had to replace: starter $120, battery $195, control arm bushings $145, two front tires including alignment $231 ($300 more soon to finish rear end proper alignment and back tires), engine and transmission mounts $80, spark plugs $45, key fob $250, DME software update to fix throttle position sensor $277. Upon purchase the small dealer fixed all the pulleys and replaced the oil filter housing gasket (all things I could do but would have been like $60 in parts $400 in labor if a shop did it).
